Just order the daily special (lamb and rice). So far my ranking would be
1) Sunday
2) Thursday
3) Wednesday
4) Tuesday
The lamb literally falls off the bone. It is cooked to perfection. Each rice brings a new flavors. -

I rarely writes comments on Yelp, but after my horrible experience today with the owner I guess I had to write something. So we went for Ramadan buffet and I called at 12:30 PM and I took reservation, the guy on the phone said we have seats available but I wont be able to guarantee your seating if its going out or inside , I said np. I walked in at 07:30 first thing I didn't like that we have to pay up front which was-not class at all it feels like we are eating at one star restaurant !! I paid and the owner I guess which he was at the door told me your table is number 60 when I walked in the surprise was that the table in front of the Men's restroom. Imagine eating next to bathroom door! I walked in politely with a low voice tone asking him if I can switch and his reaction was Omg so rude and not professional at all. I asked to be seated at another table and he said i don't have any, I said sure I see that but please can you help us out and then he said Its Ramadan and we are crowded and actually Ramadan is almost over and you are the first one who complained about the seating So I said I don't care about other people and then he starts to get loud so I walked away . Sat on the same table with friends and then he came in later asking about how was the food?! I didn't even look at him . He didn't even apologize. I have been to all the restaurants in Brookhurst, Anaheim and neither any of them was rude and unprofessional like this guy! I suggest you take some customer service courses !! Owning and managing a restaurant its about hospitality and communication skills and you miss both plus the customer service skills like I mentioned .
Never going to this place again and I would never recommend this resturant to any one I know!!
Btw, the food was not that good a lot of veggie options and the buffet was a mess and only one type of sweet , pricy for $30 per person. -

This is by far the best Palestinian/Arabic food we've had bar none! Iam so overwhelmed by the goodness and the deliciousness of the dish Freeka with Lamb Shanks , I had to review while eating! Congratulations Ahmed! Simply superb!
This review edit is for today Friday May 31st, 2019. If I was able to give 10 Stars for this fantastic place I most certainly would. Olive Tree's Ramadan Iftar was amazing! They are organized, clean and the food choices were amazingly delicious. I am so happy I experienced it! -

I love this place so much. I am originally from
Northern CA and live away from my family. I currently live in the northern valley of LA and to this day, I will gladly go out of way to come eat the amazing food here. I feel so at home, and so happy to eat authentic Palestinian food. Every time I have been here, it has never disappointed. This is the closest meal taste wise that has ever come close to anything my family has ever cooked. And seeing that I live 5 hours away from my family, Olive Tree gives me peace, solace, and a huge smile (not to mention a full belly). A big shoutout to the server Mahmoud for going above and beyond! -

I tried their Ramadan dinner buffet. It's $30 per person, but it is incredible!! Overall there were lots of good food and all fresh. The food was just as good as going when it is not a buffet. They have cheese and beef borek (kind of like a fried samosa) and also a potato version. They have something similar to a chicken egg roll and a bun that has spinach and olives in it. Lots of appetizers (hummus, stuffed liver, etc). And lots of main dishes including their specialty lamb of course!! Multiple rice and pasta dishes mixed with beef or chicken as well.
You do need to make a RESERVATION before going. Try calling as early as possible as they fill up quickly. There is parking in the plaza and in the back. It does get busy so try to get there a little early to find parking easier. You pay at the door when you enter and then it's an all you can eat buffet.
